What we collect
When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address. When you create an account, we collect your email, name, and the bid data your organization syncs from Google Sheets. We also collect basic usage data (pages visited, features used) to improve the product.
How we use your data
Your email is used to send product updates and grant access to BidCoat. Your bid data is used solely to power your organization's pipeline, analytics, and AI insights. We do not train AI models on your data. Usage analytics help us understand which features matter and where to focus development.
Who has access
Your bid data is scoped to your organization and protected by row-level security. Only members of your organization can see your bids, companies, and contacts. We use Supabase for hosting and authentication, Vercel for deployment, and OpenRouter for AI processing. None of these providers retain your data beyond what's needed to operate the service.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't share your bid data with other contractors or GCs. We don't use your data for advertising. We don't train AI models on your organization's information.
Data retention
Your data is stored as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we remove all your organization's data within 30 days. Waitlist emails are retained until you unsubscribe or request removal.
Cookies
BidCoat uses essential cookies for authentication (keeping you signed in). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
